Bio:
CRYPTIC ASSAULT was formed in Dec, 02,2007 in, Maragondon Cavite Philippines. "this band should have been formed 7 years ago!", but due to many busy schedules and other priorities personally., (+ add to the fact the numerous POSER band who pretend to be "thrash" during that time, i opted not to form it. as to allienate it from the rest!).it was put on hold, not until last year that this band was usurped with!".... and so after numerous postings looking for a decent/solid worthy member the band was finally consumed with.... members are; k.dekapitator- drums/compositions, n.desekrator-lead/rythm guitar/ vocals and q.nocturna-bass guitar.... (former bassist is Janus de` rueda of s.s.)., the band recorded on one day take a raw/lofi garage demo on, tape that was titled; BREWED BY ANGER this consist of 4 cut from w/c the forth one is an instrumental take! (it was not originally to be like that, it was rush due to time constraint renting a cheap studio in Ternate Cavite),. it also marked the audition of their girl bassist queda a.k.a. "nucturna".... it was done in one take at all....
the bands genre were; "oldsch speed metal"..., and was influenced heavily by the likes of; VENOM, EXCITER, MOTORHEAD, GEHENNAH, CRANIUM, (old) METALLICA "kill `em all/ride the lightning album", (old) SLAYER "show no mercy album", MERCYFUL FATES (era) "melissa album", POISON (80`S German death/thrash band) and ACDC.... Giving it a rock feel!!.( with the intention of bringing back the old glory days of early 80`s sounding speed metal feel!).
lofi/in-your face, ear irritating musick, all NOISE!!, just like venom`s early works & other not so known band NWOBHM DURING THAT ERA!!..
they also appeared in; S.O.R.E. ZINE., on their first interviews and it will be out soon. (local fanzine on their country).... their demo is available now on a limited basis (dub tape!).....
so interested zines/label/production, just contact us for the release of our material on any fuck`in format!, (MLP,LP cassettes,cd-r) of any format.... we`re also open for compilation joining around the glode, just email us for cooperation/discussion regarding this.....
